How to Turn Facebook Fans into Customers

You’ve accumulated all these Facebook fans… now what? It’s time to turn them into customers!

You created a Facebook page and filled it with useful information. And thanks to that engaging content, you’ve earned yourself more than a few fans. Way to go! We knew you could do it! Now it’s time to turn those Facebook Fans into customers.

Turning fans into customers is a lot easier than you think. Of course, you’re going to have to be consistent; otherwise all that work is going to go down the drain. Here’s how to gain new customers and turn those likes into cash.

Go Ahead and Provoke

It’s boring being safe – it’s time ruffle some feathers (in a good way). You’ve proven yourself to be an industry expert, so put your money where your mouth is. Put all that knowledge out there for your fans to see. What do you think your potential customers would react strongly to? Give your audience knowledge they’ve never had access to and tempt them with information they didn’t even know they needed. Show customers how they can take action on opportunities and how your offerings will provide them with the solution.

Fix Problems

Your potential clients have plenty of problems… do you know what they are? The easiest thing to do is ask. But be a bit more specific than just asking “Hey, what’s your problem?” For example, if you’re a butcher, you can ask your audience a question like: “How often do you under/overcook your barbeque steak?” With your fans’ responses, you can offer solutions such as cooking temperature, cooking length or cuts of meat. These useful answers can pave the way to new customers making their way into your store the next time they have a barbeque.

Action Packed

Don’t just sit there – it’s time to take action! Make it easy for these new customers by offering coupons, contests and call to action statements. Send them links to useful content on your site, even if you’ve used it as an update before. If the information is valuable, you can repurpose content again and again if it’s evergreen. And don’t forget to give your fans new and interesting reasons why they need to purchase from you.
